Pre-travel Covid-19 testing
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, some countries require travellers to produce a negative Covid-19 PCR test result on arrival. This is a test that can be completed by yourself at home and posted to a lab or dropped off at a designated point – your results will typically be shared with you within 24-48 hours.

Coronavirus Testing Packages
We want to make travelling with the current restrictions as easy as possible for customers, which is why we have partnered* with a number of testing providers to offer cost effective access to PCR and lateral flow testing packages to get you on your way.
Everything Genetics are offering P&O Ferries customers testing packages for Green and Amber countries. This includes a PCR test and certificate, plus the compulsory day 2 test (and day 8 where required) when returning to the UK.
You can also purchase single tests from the website including a pre-travel PCR test and a Rapid Antigen test (lateral flow test) - a certificate of which will be provided within 25 minutes. To find out more and purchase either a single test or a package, visit the Everything Genetics website.
When ordering a test through Everything Genetics, each person who orders a test will receive the following information from Everything Genetics; a text message confirming the order, email confirmation of the order and a link to an invoice showing the passenger locator code.

Testing at Hull Port
To streamline your travel plans and in light of the Netherlands entry requirements, we are pleased to be able to provide rapid antigen coronavirus tests at the port of Hull to our customers. On arrival at the port, you will be directed to the building where your test will be carried out. If your test result is negative you can continue on to check-in. Information including costs are detailed below.
Those with a positive test result will not be able to travel and will be directed to a hotel accepting positive coronavirus cases in Bradford if they’re unable to return home. We are really pleased to be able to support our valued freight customers and essential workers through offering this testing service.
Hull Port testing information
This service will be available every day of the week between 2pm and 6pm.
Test results can take up to 30 minutes, please allow an extra 90 minutes prior to checking in and arrive no later than 6pm to guarantee results before check-in closes.
The tests cost £29 plus VAT (total payable £34.80) and are available until 30th September 2021.
