Coronavirus Updates

From 4am Sunday 8 August, if you arrive in England from France and you are fully vaccinated in the UK, USA or Europe, you will not need to: quarantine on arrival in England or take a day 8 Covid-19 test. Find out more by visiting our Travel Restrictions for France page.

The government no longer recommend against travel to amber list countries. Fully vaccinated passengers returning to the UK from Amber list countries, including those who are under 18, will not need to quarantine on arrival in England or take a COVID-19 test on day 8.

Some requirements will still remain in place regarding day 2 testing and passenger locator forms, therefore please ensure you are fully up to date with the changes and visit gov.uk for the latest travel requirements for entering England.

Everyone entering England from overseas (including UK nationals and residents), must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days prior to direct departure to England and complete a Passenger Locator Form. Fill in your Passenger Locator Form up to 48 hours before arrival. You must declare all countries you have visited or transited through in the 10 days prior to your arrival on your Passenger Locator Form. Before departure, check the list of red, amber and green countries, as the list can change regularly. These are mandatory requirements and will be checked at the border and check in points, boarding can be refused by the carrier if the current entry conditions are not met.

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, some countries require travellers to produce a negative COVID-19 test result on arrival and in some cases prior to departure.
